The good news - still alive and kicking!
The better news? New camera for my birthday! Nikon 3100 with basic 18-55mm lens, so nothing TOO fancy, but a MAJOR step up from what I was using!
The best news? I'm painting. A lot. And am actually pretty good at it. Or at least that's the general consensus. I just love doing it, so keep doing it.
I have a ton of photographs to eventually upload here, a gallery to organize, and paintings that I need to get photos of. And I really, really, really need to get my light tent for painting photography built already. Oy! As in, this week! There is a contest I want to enter, and it requires a good digital p

Have been working on homework, and feeling rather uninspired outside of that.
It seems that my muse does not care for homework.
Can't blame it. ;)

My husband (who is still in an oversized sandbox halfway around the world) sent me flowers today. Just because. :love: I feel loved and spoiled and giggly and all sorts of warm fuzzies.
